Telepath Tactics from @SinisterDesign gets a massive dev log, coming along nicely

Telepath Tactics from Sinister Design has a pretty extensive devlog over on the TIGSource forum. Well, the developer has just posted a brand new devlog that weighs in at a pretty massive 33 minutes showing off the single-player mode for the upcoming tactical roleplaying game (think Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics). While the game is primarily a multiplayer experience (it will feature 22 units, environmental hazards – check out about 31:15 to see a spearman get pushed into a lake to his watery doom – destructible terrain– check out about 10:30 in the video to see the dev destroying some bushes for an indeterminate reason – and several mutliplayer modes), the single player campaign looks like it is coming along quite nicely. It definitely reminds me a little more of Fire Emblem or Shining Force than, say, Tactics Ogre or FF Tactics, although that is not a bad thing by any means. With all of those features, this is definitely one to watch for fans of tactical RPGs, with a bunch of unit types, a single player campaign, support for up to five AI opponents, and the whole host of other things I mentioned earlier. Check out the official page, as well as the devlog I previously linked, for more information about Telepath Tactics, which is still in Pre-Alpha, even though it’s already pretty darned rad looking
